Simone, a keen amateur photographer, captured this colorful display while on holiday in the Seychelles. She was shopping at a market in Mahé when she came across a stall selling bananas. "The banana theme struck me because of the combination of color and structure,” she explains. “And apart from that, I have never seen red bananas before."

An Apprentice Trainer at Syngenta in Stein, Simone has only been taking photos as a hobby since 2009. She tends to favor plants, insects and landscapes as themes and takes photos mainly when travelling and at weekends.
