With more than 3’000 beautiful entries, the Syngenta Photo Prize closed on June 20, 2010. Winners will be contacted and announced on this website in September.

The Syngenta Photo Prize is sponsored by world-leading innovator and provider of imaging solutions, Canon. Winners are selected by a jury made up of internal and external experts – including award-winning photographer Marcus Lyon and Syngenta CEO Mike Mack.

The most outstanding images – 3 from entries within Syngenta and 3 from outside the company – will be awarded vouchers for Canon equipment:

1^st   prize:  USD 8,000
2^nd  prize:  USD 5,000
3^rd   prize:  USD 3,000

Our jury evaluates photos on the basis of:

• creative interpretation of theme “Bringing plant potential to life”
• color and composition (selection of display detail, harmony, color etc.)
• quality and technique
